An installation of modern stainless steel balustrade for a client on the beach, between Marbella and Estepona. This villa, built in the 70’s is being completely reformed to a modern standard.

As part of the ongoing project, here we highlight the installation of the stainless steel balustrade, as it needs an eye for detail, to ensure that everything is correctly lined up and both vertical and horizontal, with correct spacing.

This type of stainless steel railing is ideal for all types of houses, as it does not obstruct views and is long lasting and hard wearing, especially important next to the sea.

We can also provide stainless steel and glass panels, however these are not without their downsides. Glass panels exposed to the sun, can (and do) crack. Clear glass needs regular cleaning, to look nice and prevent water marking. This can be overcome by using frosted glass panels, but then they can block the view.

These types of fencing are ideal for putting around swimming pools as stylish safety fencing, around terraces, patios etc.

In this project, our professional building team got to work in Marbella. The old guest bathroom was stripped out, the walls were then made good. The old floor tiles were also removed. In the area of the tiling in the shower zone, the walls were first waterproofed to ensure no leakage problems.

The tiles and colour scheme for the bathroom, were chosen and specified by the client. We think the result of this small project is very good.

The bathroom suite comprises a toilet, wash basin and shower, with new plumbing and taps.

In this work, we have demolished the old terrace roof which was built on 2 different levels and very low.

The plan is to make the entire floor one level and tile with the same tiles as the interior of the house. The roof has been made much higher than the original to give more light inside the house. The material specified is an aluminium sandwich board, which has excellent insulation properties, this will help to keep tings cool in Summer and the house warmer in Winter.

The final touch here will be glass curtains all along the front, making it possible to use the terrace all year round.
